Trina Warren, a native of Fort St. John, is a proven leader at one of Canada’s largest national chartered accounting and business advisory firms in Canada—MNP LLP. Trina’s leadership and entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate her own practice before merging with MNP in 2006. She has continued growing her leadership skills alongside MNP, once a single firm in the late 1950s to having 3,500 team members and over 75 part-time and full-time offices coast to coast. Trina’s effective leadership style has been demonstrated in many roles, including as the Regional Managing Partner (RMP) for MNP’s Southern Saskatchewan region before she took on her current position as the RMP for the Thompson-Okanagan Valley region. As the leader for the region that covers Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops, Trina’s more than two decades of experience in public practice affords her the ability to effectively mentor MNP’s team members, empowering them to deliver business advice that helps their clients achieve their goals. As a respected leader, Trina also holds a position on the firm’s Operations Committee; a post highly regarded and only awarded to MNP’s top leaders. Trina believes in leading by example, and continues to work closely with her clients—owner-managed companies in diverse sectors, including real estate and construction— in addition to leading her team. She takes pride in forging strong relationships with clients, working as a part of each company’s team to develop in-depth knowledge of their financial position so they can achieve future growth. She also connects clients with MNP’s broad-based expertise when they need specialized help to move forward. Committed to giving back to her community, Trina has also volunteered for various organizations, including the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, Wascana Golf and Country Club, Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Fort St John and Regina.
