Jennifer Moore is the owner of Moorsaic Strategic Services, a consulting firm that specializes in small business and non-profit business planning. A self-proclaimed community builder, she is involved in many community organizations including the 2020 BC Winter Games Society, North Peace Seniors Housing Society and the Fort St John Public Library. She moved to the Peace Country nearly a decade ago with an 18 month plan and 9 years later, has no intention of leaving. Jennifer has been with Spark since the very beginning, starting as work initiative but almost immediately gained the top spot in her heart. There are not many touches associated with Spark she doesn’t have her fingers in.

Sam was born and raised in the peace region where she met her husband of 9 years and made fort st john her home in 2006. She has been in the promotional products industry since 2006 and just recently opened up her own company Bold Promotions in Jan 2017. With over 11 years experience in the industry Bold quickly grew from a one women operation to employing 3 fabulous ladies.

Sarah is a previous business owner in Fort St John, who has been honored to serve on the Spark Board for the past seven years and currently sits as president on the Board for the Fort St John Association for Community Living. She is an aspiring novelist who is taking advantage of her current situation by pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a published author. She lives with her family on an acreage in Charlie Lake, where she is actively involved with the Charlie Lake Fire Hall in support of her husband and son, who are both firefighters there. Sarah strongly believes in the entrepreneurial spirit of the North and remains committed to encouraging and challenging women to achieve their fullest potential in life by stepping out and taking risks, while embracing the support of like-minded women.

Megan Stables is a leader, passionate about bringing dignity, hope and vision to people and organizations through education and relationships. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant who has spent over 15 years of her career providing financial leadership in the energy industry. Megan was raised in Fort St John, and together with her husband leads a local business and contributes to building our community. She believes leadership requires clarity and accountability but not at the expense of kindness. In 2019 Megan became a Certified Facilitator for the Dare to Lead™ curriculum under the instruction of Brené Brown. In her spare time, Megan provides leadership for a variety of community and non profit organizations, including North Peace 4-H, CPA Financial Literacy and Trades 4 Life International.

Lilia Hansen

Lilia Hansen is a Councillor with the City of Fort St. John where she proudly promotes and advocates for her community at all levels of government. She is also a Provincial Export Advisor under the Export Navigator Program, helping small and medium sized businesses grow by supporting their entry into new domestic or international markets. Previously she held the position of Executive Director of the Fort St. John and Dist. Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. Prior to that, she worked for the Ministry of Environment for 12 years and ended her tenure as the Regional Program Admin Support Section Head. In addition to serving Conservation Officer Service, Fish & Wildlife, BC Parks, and Environmental Protection, she has also had the pleasure of supporting the RCMP in an administrative role. Her personal business background includes owning an oilfield contracting businesses with her husband, real estate investment, and property management.

Karen is a passionate designer and branding specialist crafting compelling, award winning graphic design and marketing campaigns for the businesses, organizations and individuals she works with. In 2007, Karen took a leap of faith and opened her design studio, Indigo Designs. Since then, she has gone on to win 8 National awards and 2 Provincial Awards for her marketing and design work. Karen has been lending her marketing design, web design and theme weaving skills to Spark since 2015.

Catharine Dragojevich moved to Fort St. John in 1994. She is a mother of two and actively engages with her community to help continue its’ growth and development. Catharine has 20+ years in the financial industry and is currently working as a Mortgage Specialist with Royal Bank of Canada.

Suzanne Young

Suzanne grew up in Chetwynd, B.C. and, aside from a few years to attend post-secondary school, has proudly spent her time living and working in Northeastern B.C. With Bachelor’s Degrees in both Education and Commerce and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, she has over 15 years of diverse industry experience in Human Resources Management. Suzanne believes in the rich opportunities available for individuals in the North and encourages embracing diversity, communicating with transparency, and having fun in every organization she works with. When she isn’t providing services as a freelance HR Consultant, she can be found spending as much quality time as possible with her husband and two young boys (and the poodle).

Carolynn Oliver is from Halifax, Nova Scotia and has been living in Fort St. John for the past nine years. Carolynn has over 20 years of leadership experience working in banking, government and the hotel industry. Throughout Carolynn’s work experience she has been very active in training and developing employees and colleagues. She has a passion for learning and enjoys encouraging and inspiring others to learn new things. Carolynn enjoys sports and has recently taken up curling.
